As mentioned in this weeks Rhythm & Roots Radio Show #50. The Flamingos formed in Chicago in 1953 and recorded a much tamer version of this song in 1954. I play that earlier mild version on the show.Here is the sooped up later version taken from the 1959 film “Go Johnny Go” . It’s called Jump Children [Voot, Voot]. Holy Moly what a show!
